Before you totally disregard my argument because you think I'm a Marvel fanboy or whatever, lemme say this. Isn't it just a little bit odd that DC is building up to Darkseid with the Mother Boxes just like Marvel is doing with Thanos and the Infinity Stones? 0.o

The Infinity Stones are stones that contain immense power, that when combined, will make the wearer of them essentially a god. They all have individual, unique capabilities and that’s why Thanos after all 6 of them. With me so far? Ok, let’s move on to Mother Boxes! Mother Boxes, or Boom Tubes, are used as transportation over long distances. Specifically from Apokolips to anywhere else in the universe. So if Steppenwolf wants them it’s because he and his parademon troops are the Vanguard and want to use those boxes to open a portal to let Darkseid in all the way from Apokolips. In the Comics and other forms of DC media, th JL has also used them as pathways from Earth to their Watchtower. So really, they have nothing in common. At all. At all. At. ALL.

Also! The Mother Boxes and Darkseid were created by Jack Kirby, way before Marvel had Thanos and the Infinity Stones.
