A new set for an apocalypse movie?
No.
The riots in Kiev. This is happening right now.

Those breathtaking pictures were taken by the young and usually happy tumblarian girl RedMisa during her volunteer work at Kiev.

"I never thought that I would cry for my native country. I’m not particularly patriotic, I do not like politics, large gatherings of people, meetings and inspirational slogans. but I still go to the central street of Kyiv almost every day, doing volunteer work, doing all I can to help. two months of no change for the better, things were getting worse and worse. but when the killings began, catching the protesters in the streets and beating them up…that was the last straw for me. I do not know what to expect next."

Ukraine probably won’t have access to the internet soon. Read more about it here.

It has been a year since i made those pictures. Just remembering it hurts me so much i can barely breathe.

Who would’ve knew that this was only the beginning. Couple weeks later Russia invaded Ukraine. Thousands have died since that time. Me and my family suffered much cuz of it.

And no one knows when it will end.

my thoughts about today’s election for president of Ukraine

Citizens of Ukraine today enthusiastically do a mission called “vote for any shit.” Because political strategists told them when you “vote for Ukraine” you save the country from Putin. Such familiar words. I have heard them before.

By the way, i don’t like Putin, don’t like Russia, don’t like bastards with guns no matter what color they are, or what uniform they wear. I tell this for those people who divide world to black and white. Its just that, unfortunately, people of Ukraine vote for some “big daddy”. Or “mommy”. So that they can “put things to order”. Voting so we, unfortunately, disclaim our responsibility. And become all the same stupid trash. You booed these people on Maidan, and now you wave to them. They scared you and fucked you up. There is no self-organization, no conscientiousness anymore. The same meaningless slogans, the same decision factors: “good businessman”, “already stole too much”, “patriot”, “soldier”, “vote for lesser evil”. Almost nobody reads their programs because they consist of populist nonsense only. Every one of them lies.

And we accept these game rules. AGAIN.

Burnt buliding of Trade Unions of Ukraine

to-ma-to

Only a week ago i was at this place, working in press center, helping people, making food…and now it’s all burned down. lots of injured people that were there couldnt go out and all of them died in fire. i saw bodies carried right in front of me. working as press i should be prepared for everything. but this is just so horrible i wasnt able to think straight. i was in shock, then in tears. 80 people dead in general and lots of more injured heavily, most of them will be handicaped for life. but i belive that sacrifice will not be in vain. they died as heroes and wont be forgotten.
