I know it’s early to start drawing family-based pictures, but I couldn’t help myself. Obviously, the royal family isn’t going to be sunshine and candy. There will be some tension between the twins and their parents as they grow older. I’m really a big fan of father/daughter bonding, so I can kind of see Feathermoon confiding in King Sombra for negative feelings she has towards him, her mother and brother.

Being the only one that can’t do magic, she’ll feel singled out, and King Sombra (He’d have greatly matured by then. Whilst still can be a dick from time the time, has finally “grown up”), not having the answers for her questions, just listens in silence.
