Gotham Girl asked Batman if he’s happy with his life and what he does. Bruce insisted that what he wants doesn’t matter. Then after a lot of arguments, she encouraged him to pursue his happiness.
So he went after Catwoman to talk to her and proposed to her with the diamond she stole the first time they met that he bought and kept for many years! And now they’re engaged!
So far Dick is the only one who truly understood Bruce’s unhappiness and offered the best explanation: He wants to be happy, for once.
