I'm really sorry to bother you but this suddenly popped into my head while i was eating oreos, is Martian manhunter's obsession over oreos canon? Or is it just a popular headcanon? If you're too busy to answer i understand :) BTW I love your blog so much♡ Thankyou so much for running this blog!

Oh you’re not bothering me at all.  Martian Manhunter’s obsession with Oreos is 100% canon.  The only thing is in the DCU they call them “Chocos” to avoid copyright issues.  J’onn has an actual physical addiction to the sandwich cookies.  You should look up the wiki for Martian Manhunter #24

The summary is certainly worth a read.  J’onn continued his obsession with Chocos for over a decade up until present day.  When the Martian Manhunter died during Final Crisis, Batman placed a single Choco cookie on J’onn’s coffin.  Later, during Brightest Day Guy Gardner gave J’onn a large cooler filled with Chocos alongside a gallon of milk.  He did this to congratulate Martian Manhunter on coming back to life at the end of Blackest Night.
