In Andromeda, one of the squad mates you have to recruit is “a human soldier from long ago” that was somehow frozen in stasis. You locate them and before you unfreeze them, you can just barely make out some of their uniform fro inside the capsule they’re in. You see the faintest outline of a logo, but its clear what it says: N7

you unfreeze them and ask them their name. It takes him a while but finally you’re told the name of this great hero: Conrad Verner.
