FOR ANYONE SENSITIVE TO JUMPSCARES OR LOUD NOISES!
So for Halloween, tumblr messenger has replaced its normal messaging sounds with “spooky sounds.” This may be lighthearted and fun for most people, but I personally was not expecting that banshee scream and werewolf growl that just burst from my computer.
These noises can get pretty startling, but don’t worry–you can turn them off.
First, just click the ellipses at the top of your conversation.
Right at the top, you’ll have an option to go back to your regular messenger sounds! (And don’t worry, you can turn them back on the exact same way if you change your mind later!)
This may not be a big deal to everyone, but I just thought I’d post this in case zombies were suddenly roaring from your computer and you had no clue where they were coming from.
