Suicide Squad: *Makes more money than Captain America: The Winter Soldier without China*

Not to be random but the fact that Suicide Squad broke 700 million in grossing w/o China’s box office further proves how cowardly the MCU has handled this Doctor Strange situation and how bs their excuse is about the way they handled the casting and storyline and furthermore, how insecure they are in their box office earnings w/o China to skyrocket their earnings. The DCEU is the second fastest franchise to break 2 billion dollars in grossing in just 3 movies, and the only CBM franchise to do so…lol. But only a franchise that does that can be considered “a failure” because it’s “DC”.
It’s a failure because the films are shit. BvS could barely crack a billion dollars. BATMAN VS SUPERMAN, the most anticipated superhero of all time, struggled to crack a billion dollars. It was out grossed by Deadpool, a film which was developed for fans, fouled by fans and had a fraction of BvS’ budget. THAT is fucking failure.
Actually it made a hundred million more than Deadpool. I thought your assessment was that it was a failure because you felt it was of poor quality but you changed immediately to saying that it was a failure for box office reasons.
Actually Deadpool made more money domestically than BvS, which is staggering if you think about it. And I’m saying that the movie was so bad that a concept that should have made more than the avengers, couldn’t beat Deadpool, a b-lost character.
Domestically doesn’t mean everything. Foreign markets are what matter more now. It’s why Marvel had to whitewash the ancient one to avoid losing China which is the biggest market now. The fact that Suicide Squad made so much without China is a big deal.
I would disagree as Avengers was a sequel to five films and a culmination while BvS was a sequel to one film and a launching pad.
