But seriously, “Grayson” is a terrible comic.
Firstly, Tim Seeley had the audacity to reboot Helena as a woman of colour
AND he made her a clever badass who had the audacity to one-up Dick like what even
Seeley didn’t stop there, he had to go and make Dick’s Romani heritage canon again
Then Tom King went and created this dude, Agent 1, who is considered the best that Spyral and who was born in Afghanistan
He is *gasp* a practicing Muslim
Mikel Janin had to go and make this guy super hot too UGH
Of all the existing supporting characters in the world they had to get the gay Batman expy
AND his love interest
AND let him express appreciation for a good-looking man wtf omg ew gay people are not allowed to do that in a comics!!1
And then you have these silly little chits of various nationalities and ethnicities and personalities
These horny teenage girls who are allowed to freely express sexual desire without being shamed for it GOD
These capable young women with their bright futures I mean what even
As if there weren’t enough ladies (seriously who will think of the men!?) they had to go create a freaking cannibal! Didn’t they get the memo that lady characters are only allowed to be strong holy angels? SHEESH.
Doooon’t even get me started on Dr. Netz with her cool haircut or unabashed fanfiction writing hobby
