Mamoru doesn’t really know what’s going on. All he knows is that:
- He just caught his girlfriend looking very intimate with someone else
- His girlfriend is now very distressed
And he immediately, without hesitation, sets aside any jealousy he might feel about #1 and rushes to console the distressed girlfriend.
This is what makes them so good. Taking care of each other is always the first priority. The rest they can work through with time.
