Comic Con this year is going to be really interesting. The studios always try to one up each other, and that’s fun because it provides us with good content.

But I feel like Marvel is gonna find themselves in a pickle this year. I assume they’ll do panels for Doctor Strange and Guardians of the Galaxy 2 since those are their next to movies. They’ll probably release trailers for both. I think it’s too early for them to do anything for Infinity War.

DC will likely be doing a Wonder Woman panel, and a panel for Suicide Squad. They might bring out the Justice League cast, and maybe release a still, but I don’t expect footage or anything.

What’s gonna be a problem for Marvel is that Wonder Woman panel. They’re probably going to release the first teaser trailer for the movie, because it will be less than a year out at that point, and they’re about done filming now. So DC is gonna release a trailer for the first female led superhero movie in a long time, after she gained a lot of popularity in BvS, and Marvel is coming with…a super controversial movie with a white male lead in Doctor Strange.

If Marvel doesn’t do anything else, and I’m sure they know this, people are going to be side eyeing them, and asking “what is taking you so long?” especially if a Wonder Woman trailer drops. Because of this, I think Marvel is gonna announce who is playing Captain Marvel at Comic Con. They’re gonna want to get in good with their female fan base, and try not to look like they’re so many steps behind (which they are, but whatever).

But I’d just like to say that I LOVE how DC has put Marvel in this position where they’re going to look like idiots for not making a female led superhero movie by now when Wonder Woman is on the way and we’re about to get a trailer.
