List of things I want in Suicide Squad
- A reference to Harley’s bisexuality (idc if she mentions Ivy, or checks out a woman; make clear that she’s very much not straight and I’m happy)
- KATANA. Just Katana, man, let her be badass and beat up Boomy’s racist douchebag ass once in a while
- An actual exploration of Croc’s past and making us understand that he actually has a disease that he suffers from greatly (and esp. did so in childhood), and not just using him as the Oh GoD hE eAtS pEoPLe guy
- A portrayal of the Harley/Joker relationship that I can actually get behind (meaning it’s neither cringeworthily romanticized nor is the Joker demonized beyond belief and Harley portrayed as the poor, innocent angel that needs to be saved from him)
- I want neither Harley nor Boomerang to be the Comic Relief™, I want them both to be fully-fletched 3 dimensional characters who just happen to be funny every once in a while.
- At least one Joker/Batman scene where we see how these two versions of the characters work together
- I want Amanda Waller to be this Super Powerful Lady, and I want it to be very clear that she has to fight both racism and sexism day by day, and she still is where she is now
