um maybe it has something to do with how they’re demonizing mentally ill people? and erasing Harleen’s actually mental illness to try and be edgy with the whole “I hear voices :3c” bullshit? She has Stockholm Syndrome, and PTSD from an abusive relationship? She’s not fucking psychotic, and she worked hard as fuck to work her way out of her abusive relationship and come to terms with it, and
for this bullshit nonsense to try and be like “oh but!!! we have diversity!!!!” to try and cover up how they’re turning mentally ill people into circus acts is bullshit and I dont fucking care if it gets ur fanboy panties in a twist because the public representation of psychotic and mentally ill people are way more fucking important than you getting to wack it to a made-up, ‘crazy’, grossly reduced to a single theme character, that TRIED to be nearly as interesting as the actual one it’s based off of.
