I have read so many disgusting posts about Adam Driver’s appearance that I couldn’t shut the fuck up anymore.
First of all, as far as I know the man had (and still has) major issues about his body and is painfully aware that he isn’t your stereotypical Hollywood pretty face, so you’re basically spewing shit about a person who has a complex.
Second, this isn’t even about Adam Driver anymore: this is about how fucking gross you can be towards a person just because they don’t fit your definition of beauty. As someone who has endured years of bullying for this exact reason, let me tell you that it hurts like a motherfucker and it continues to affect my life and the way I perceive myself even after all this time. That said, I can’t even imagine how difficult it would be for someone who works in a business that’s all about the way you sell yourself, or what the fuck this poor guy could think about butthurt assholes whining because"lol kyle ron is so uglyyy!!!1".
Tumblr and most people on the internet claim to be all about self-love and body positivity and yet all I see is this hypocritical garbage… But then again what was I even expecting from a place like this?
And I swear to God don’t even try to come at me with the list of the “problematic” things Adam Driver has done (has he even done something??? ? ?????), because he’s an actor: I value him for his job and I don’t have time for your bitching.
