When anyone in the batfam has a nightmare about another member dying they immediately call that person no matter what time it is and the person on the other end of the line might pretended to be annoyed but is really happy they care.

Yes and hell yes.

Dick will go check on the family members, like it’s 3 am and he’s driving over to the Manor and waking up people ‘how are you? are you ok? I brought milkshakes come downstairs lets talk about how pretty the moon is’

Jason will struggle, not wanting to give in but in the end he’ll give a quick call, asking about some mundane thing (“So Alfred’s birthday is in 8 months, we should start planning”) but no one calls him out on it.

Tim will lie in bed and call and real quietly ask if they’re ok, tell them he had a nightmare and he’s just checking in. He’ll sound so small and scared, the other party usually will sit and talk to him until he drifts back off.

Cass will go all ninja and silently stalk her family members, making sure that they are in one piece. But she can’t sleep after such a terrible nightmare, she’ll either go practice in the gym or sit on the roof and ensure than no one comes to harm her family.

Damian gets all shaky, lying in bed imaging going back to an existence without the love and warmth he’s come to require. He’ll go crawl into Bruce or Dick’s bed, real quiet so he doesn’t wake them (he does, they don’t mind). In the morning though, he’s checking out the others to see that they’re ok too.

Bruce will drop whatever he’s doing and go check on each of the kids. He’ll that stereotypical dad thing of poking his head in the door and slowly counting them. God help you if a kid happens to be out of the house when Bruce is checking. You’ll get an angry panicked phone and most likely will be assigned cave cleaning duty. right near where he works. so he can see you’re alright.
