If i’m going to be completely honest. THIS is the song i really, REALLY want to be in the Suicide Squad film. I don’t know if this guy has been signed or even if there’s going to be a soundtrack but to me, this just SCREAMS Joker x Harley. don’t you think so, @murderous-manipulative-angel ? it also really just makes me think of the Skwad in general. eh, i don’t know.
also, metaphors and underlying meanings aside… this is just a really fucking great song. I’ve been listening to this non-stop for the past fortnight. hell, if they can keep this guy’s version in it (well, he wrote the damned thing based on the Joker) that’d be an AWESOME promotion! well, that’s my interpreting the idea that major blockbusters usually have a big single to promote the fuck outta it (i’m looking at you Linkin Park) but, it’s probably a long shot. oh well.

I REMEMBER THIS SONG! I heard it months ago, but thought it was a lot better than I had anticipated. Really enjoyed the lyrics and the music buildup. (Songs with hard hitting choruses are my favorites because (to me) it gives me such a strong emotional reaction towards what I’m listening) Overall, I would have no issues if this song or something similar were used for the soundtrack :)
oh, honey, i know. the opening with that sweet piano riff (well, there is an acoustic version) is just perfect right up to BAM! Personally, i really, really REALLY don’t want the whole Harley/Joker/Deadshot thing to be too much the focus (i’m not as against it as you are, if i’m wrong please correct me) BUT i’ve been thinking about the line “who’s it gonna be?”… i don’t imagine the love triangle bullshit but all i hear is Joker saying to Harley, “pick a side coz i’m not sticking around, pumpkin”. as in, be a villain not a hero. be yourself not someone you’re not.
Just ARGH! this fucking song, man… the feels lol there’s a lot of fanvids that use this song for Joker x Harley, some just with the footage from the Squad trailer (and the leaked flashback footage) and also mixed AUs from Jared Leto x Margot Robbie, and Heath Ledger x Margot Robbie (oh, the Aussie in me loves those vids XD) and they are SO GOOD!!!
Thankfully after the movie is released, we can replace the original soundtrack if it’s bad or unfitting and put in our own songs to make it better lol :)
