  • nobody knows where the fuck your country is
  • some people don’t even know your country exists
  • presumption that Czechoslovakia and Yugoslavia still exist
  • people automatically assuming you are Russian
  • questions about politics
  • old maps with wrong/no longer relevant information
  • people cursing you kurwa because they somehow know that word
  • (even if you’re not polish)
  • attempts to explain what Slavic countries are & why can we partly understand each other’s languages
  • no concerts of international singers/bands
  • people mispronouncing your name

  • Always get portrayed as bad people in films.
  • Gets overly stereotyped as being “backwards”. Example: People have internet in Romania?
  • Gets stereotyped as “commies” even though most east Europeans actually hate communism.
