Kill the idea that Self Insert x Canon is wrong and bad
Let people enjoy themselves the way they want, if they want to ship themselves or their OC with a canon character let them.
As long as one person doesn’t claim the canon character as theirs and only theirs and bullies and hates those who have other ships with that canon character, don’t ship it or have crushes on that canon character.
But you are in no position to send hate and look down to people who are simply enjoying themselves.
Remember we are talking about fictional characters so it is extremely ridiculous to start fighting over them.
From both sides of this, don’t be a dick.
