an AU idea i had based on a joke that went something like “malachite is just a really weird dog”. peridot is a simple gem trying to get by in new york city, but her “dog” malachite makes life a lot harder than it should be. in this AU malachite cant talk and id consider her level of sentience to be like a 6 year old child, but she acts most like a particularly mischievous dog. i have no idea its an au based on a joke cut me some slack.
