La Noche in ancient Mayan style, with some aztec influences thrown in. I even managed to find the ancient mayan glyph for moon and put it in her jewelry and headdress.

I plan to color and shade it more in the future, but i feel so proud of how the line work came out i want to show it off early :P originally her cloak/moon was blocky like the mayan style, but i thought making it a full crescent shape  communicated ‘moon’ better and worked with the existing curves in her dress.

and i’d love to do a la muerte version, but i can decide if i should put her in her movie outfit or make up a more ancient goddess style outfit?
