Malachite
They are all a fusion between two Gems (3 in Sugilites case). They all have 2 sets of arms (3 sets in Malachites case). They’re pretty big, and look kind of monstrous.
You know who else is a gem fusion?
Garnet
But I only count two arms. And she doesn’t look too different then the other Gems. She looks pretty “normal”.
Why?
Well because Ruby and Sapphire love each other. They fuse smoothly and effortlessly. Like no dancing is required. I feel that the closer the bond is between the two Gems, the smoother the fusion.
OH who’s that “normal” looking fusion I see over there?
