I love this movie because I, as many thers, kept waiting for a disney movie about latinos… It’s very cool to have a nice not-so-cliche-but-cultural movie to feel identified with. And if get lucky I want to work in this movie one day… Please God!!!

It’s a movie from a guy that fought the very hardest way to get it done, a guy who believed in our culture and said “I can do it too”

And got to print that in the movie, no, The Book of Life it’s not about death or coping with it, nor it’s about love… (but maybe a little)

It’s about believing in your dreams, in yourself, believe that it can be done, you can do it as long as you play with your heart

I love Joaquin because we are the same age (20) and because even at the end of the movie when he is left with no father, an absent mother, loses an eye, loses the love of his life to his best friend and loses the medal that make him “the hero” he still claps at the wedding and dances with his friends, he keeps smiling…

He is surely the best example to live by!
