Heres a reminder Harley Quinn is not a sweet little helpless girl. She loves to destroy, torture, and murder people. That’s who she is. That’s who she has always been. She was created to be a villain. This whole idea that she has to have redemption/become an anti-hero/be all cute and nice is ridiculous. People do this to her often times because she is a woman and women in comics can never just be evil. They always have to have been manipulated or turn good eventually and as a woman it is offensive. The male villains do not receive this treatment at the same rate, but with Harley it is so much worse.
Especially when it comes to Harley and Ivy, a lot of people excuse the abuse because they are two women and/or a lot of people don’t want to admit it’s abusive. If you’re one of the Harley/Ivy shippers who attack Harley/Joker shippers for being abusive, you are being hypocritical. Also a hell of a lot of people like to ignore the fact that Harley herself has also been abusive.
Poison Ivy is emotionally and physically abusive to Harley just like Joker.

It is okay to ship Harley/Joker and Harley/Ivy because it is your opinion/you can do what you want/they are fictional.
But if you are someone who criticizes/attacks/sends hate to H/J shippers because of the abuse and you yourself ship H/Ivy you are missing the fucking point and you should stop yourself abusing REAL people for shipping what they want just like you are.
