I was inspired by the design of discord’s raw magic from the season four finale, i loved the way it moved and undulated in the air and how they somehow made all those colors work together in the shot.

and i’ve had a little plot bunny in my head for a while now that rarity should make discord an outfit like she’s done with all her other friends, not only as a fun challenge for herself but as a way to show forgiveness and good willing, to mark a turning point in discord’s sincerity in wanting friendship from the mane 6. (and spike?) i mean, im not trying to ship it or anything, but he could offer her a unique perspective on the chaotic nature of inspiration and creativity…blah blah blah headcanon.

plus i wanted to draw discord looking all sexyfine in an exquisitely tailored suit. is that so wrong?
