i cannot tell you how many times i redid xibalba’s expression…i couldnt decide between surprise, perversion, glee, slavering desire, shock, embarrassment, sheepish arousal, smugness, or varied combinations of all of the the above! for some reason i am having the hardest time getting this guy to emote anything besides ‘grumpy’ or ‘insecure’.
also these characters with their insane amounts of detail are gonna kill me. i take xibalba out of his armor and crown so often because i feel sorry for my poor wrist! and dont get me started on their proportions!
