I’ve been wanting to draw the Adelita twins from Book of Life since I saw it… a couple months ago. But I’ve been too busy to work on my own stuff. Finally made the time to do it, so enjoy. Initially I had started with pencil on paper, but when I messed up the inking so to salvage it I re-inked the whole thing in digital. The coloring is far from perfect, but it’s what I have time for.

If I did this right these should be transparent? hopefully?

Book of Life headcannon time: i just thought that there are also children who are not remembered and i thought that maybe Balby stays with them till they turn to ashes…and Muerte founding out by accident. like in a room in his castle where he has walls filled with their names. cuz he is the only one who remembers them. and that’s why he wants to rule land of the remembered so much cuz he is just tired of this and cant take it anymore.
