Goodness! This hat sure has been quite a journey for me. It has tested my abilities and patience. But it is all worth it. Almost done with it as well! I decided to hand make the candles, since they are not all the same size. I don’t usually like to cut corners anyways so I avoided buying the cheap plastic ones you see around Christmas time.
So all I really have left now is to finish the candles and get them put on the hat! I plan on attaching them with tiny magnets, that way when I travel they won’t get bumped on anything and will last longer. You can see how much of a mess cutting foam makes! I know the LED lights inside the foam is white, but I plan on making the flames out of yellow resin. So it will look super bright and nice!
I guess my entire Sunday afternoon is planned out for me! Goodbye, weekend! x_x
