I love how Dipper never let’s the fact that he’s just a twelve year old kid stop him from being the brave, resolute and resourceful nerd we all know and love. Dipper may be a total wimp, but that never stops him from holding his own against all the Gravity Falls weirdness. When the world fights, Dipper fights back and that’s what really makes hims such an awesome character.

So, finally did a gemsona. Even took another stab at trying to animate too! (Again, always open to tips on how to animate better.) I probably spent more time than I should have on this.

Garnet’s outfit in today’s episode isn’t an animation error. Open Book, Story for Steven, Say Uncle, and Shirt Club were all originally scheduled to air before the end of season 1, and had their air dates disrupted by Stevenbomb. Next week and onwards we’ll be into season 2 proper, and Garnet will be back to her post Jail Break outfit.
