there’s no reason to feel ashamed about caring for somebody more than they care for you. there’s nothing shameful about having a big heart. especially since one day you’ll meet somebody whose heart matches your own.

Whenever someone tells you that Germans have no sense humor, just remind them that one of the most popular German musicians wrote a song about his furniture being psychopathic, so he has to sleep in the shower, because the shower is the only friend he’s got left, but in the end it turns out that the shower is evil and it stabs him to death.
Also, Farin Urlaub is part of one of the most popular german bands in recent history, Die Ärzte, and they did songs about men being pigs (with a video featuring Lara Croft), about being “unrockable” as in not liking rock music and about a tank that’s shooting with flowers and brings world peace.
We germans are freakin’ funny. or at least our musicians are.
