It just hit me, why Rey is so emotional/affectionate when she first sees Han and Finn when they come to rescue her
It’s because of what Finn says to her - “we came for you”
Rey has been waiting for as long as she can remember for someone to come back for her
And now, with this new power inside her that she doesn’t completely understand and being so utterly terrified of what’s going to happen to her
Here’s this beautiful boy, who looks her right in the eye and tells her that he came here for the primary purpose of bringing her back with him
Like can you just IMAGINE how much Rey needed to hear that
