Just to clarify, those are three blond fashion models, one wearing a golden batman symbol and carrying a skateboard backpack, one with no backpack attached to his skateboard but an even bigger golden batman symbol, and the third with neither batman symbol nor backpack but an irreverently stripey suit jacket and a look of distant, hollow rage.
Whatever the fuck is happening in the next batman movie, I am fucking here for this shit.
“Bat-Percival,” Bat-Clarence drawled, doing a sick grind down the oaken bannisters of Chomdleigh Hall, “go fetch Bat-Roderick out of the library, they’re serving bat-bangers and mash for luncheon and you know how he fusses so when he misses out.”
“I’ll go,” Bat-Percival says gravely. “But I shan’t enjoy it. I haven’t enjoyed anything since my parents were shot in front of me at the skatepark.”
Bat-Clarence joins him at the window overlooking the lush grounds of St Albertine’s On The Wold School For Batmen, and places his hand sympathetically on Bat-Percival’s impeccably tailored shoulder for one brief moment of completely unintentional homoeroticism. Then Bat-Percival mounts his board and does a fucking sick triple kick-flip out the window. He is gone into the night.
Somewhere, a bell tolls. It reminds Bat-Percival of how his parents got shot. They both got shot. Right in front of him, at the skatepark.
“I am the night, in a way,” he muses, “but then again, does not darkness reside in the hearts of all mankind?” He ollies pensively off to the dining hall.
