Amber Heard Confirms Her Role as Mera in ‘Justice League’

ET confirmed on Thursday that the 29-year-old actress has been cast as Mera, the undersea queen and wife of Aquaman in the DC Comics canon. Heard will make her first appearance as Mera in 2017’s The Justice League Part Onebefore appearing in the 2018 standalone Aquaman film opposite Game of Thrones star Jason Momoa.

The actress exclusively dished to ET’s Katie Krause about her sea queen costume.

“It’s interesting. It’s like, half suit of armor, half scales,” Heard revealed. “It’s strange… We’re in the process of building it now, so it’s coming along.”

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder is set to helm the two-part Justice League films, while Furious 7’s James Wan will be directing the Aquaman standalone feature

so many gifs of ostriches doing their mating dance for humans but did u know

they actually did a study on this

and ostriches repeatedly found humans more attractive than other ostriches

yes

ostrich farmers have trouble setting up their ostriches with each other because they’re just not interested, they want their farmers instead

it’s incredible

also, ostriches show notable sexual preference

some male ostriches will only display for male humans, some will display for anybody, some will display for female humans only

I can’t believe ostriches are reverse furries

lord-kitschener

clearly we must kinkshame ostritches

Lobo’ Movie Still In The Works, ‘Wonder Woman Writer’ Jason Fuchs To Pen The Script

Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment are turning to their “Wonder Woman” writer Jason Fuchs to pen “Lobo,” TheWrap has learned.

The project marks Fuchs’ second within Warners’ DC universe following “Wonder Woman,” indicating a certain confidence in Fuchs’ work on that upcoming superhero movie starring Gal Gadot and Chris Pine.

Insiders suggest that Fuchs will start from scratch with his own take on Lobo — an alien who works as an interstellar mercenary and bounty hunter. The character became a popular figure among fans of DC comic books following his revival in the early ’90s as a biker anti-hero.
