Red Hood painting.
This is a Batman TAS AU where the Joker has the “Killing Joke” origin, except his pregnant wife doesn’t die. As result, Jack Napier has a reason to continue sane and remain a more or less okay person. Jack becomes a vigilante hero using his Red Hood persona.
Red Hood is an eccentric failed comedian, he knows how unfunny he is and does not hesitate to use bad jokes on people. Batman can barely tolerate him but Hood is a valuable ally so Batman has to test his patience with Hood.
The Red Hood gives the impression he probably is always smiling under that mask, but he’s actually frowning half of the time, partly because he wants to not look like clown as humanly possible and because his financial situtation isn’t very great.
