People keep shitting on Zack Synder.

He respects women in his films.
He respects the mentally ill in his films.
He respect poc in his films.

He gives equal weightage to everybody in his movie, regardless of race, sex, or color. And if not equal weightage, gives them an important scene (ie. Wonder Woman).

He doesn’t romanticize mental illness or disabilities unlike those people at marvel

His films don’t spoofeed you like marvel

He treats the audience like adults, expecting you to pay attention and to pick out the details themselves and to put the dots together yourself.

His films aren’t for those who want a once time popcorn flick. His films require multiply viewings because they have so many layers to them.
