ONE i am sad that you’re calling dccu joker not complex before even watching the movie or released clips. all you’ve seen is the trailers? on the same basis i can say that croc doesn’t look quite as complex as his comic counterpart since all i’ve seen him do is have beer and do weird crocodile shit.
TWO the money thing– why do you take his dislike for money to literally mean he does not ever interact with money ever?? because clearly that is not the case. in the comics or otherwise. and from what we have seen so far, dccu joker clearly does not care about money. he’s legit blinging himself out to the max and not using his money for anything remotely useful. he’s just using it irresponsibly for the sake of using it.
and you’re right about him not caring about what people think of him, but that doesn’t mean he’s gonna let himself go and dress like some two-bit thug if he can help it. he is going to be fly as hell and blinged out and shiny.
