things i appreciate about bvs: in all other batman media, thomas is the one who is shown fighting the gunman while martha is murdered as she stands there. in bvs, thomas moves to protect bruce but he doesn’t get any further before the gun fires and he falls. it’s martha in this version that fights to protect bruce, she goes for the gun to save her son. it’s such a small thing but so satisfying considering for years martha has been an after thought while bruce focuses his pain on thomas.
BvS reviews: Ben Affleck’s portrayal of Iron man in Batman vs Superman was the worst. He wasn’t surrounded by the Avengers and was darker and more violent than usual. Henry Cavill’s Captain America couldn’t convince us either
