it’s kind of hilarious how bitter some marvel stans are about dc when literally dc is the reason marvel exists in the first place and half of what marvel does is in direct response to dc
superheroes as a concept would not exist without superman
steve rogers, tony stark, and bucky barnes would not be who they are if it hadn’t been for clark kent, bruce wayne, and dick grayson
there wouldn’t be an mcu if the dark knight trilogy hadn’t ushered in a comic book movie renaissance
civil war wouldn’t be civil war if the announcement of batman v superman hadn’t made marvel execs nervous
marvel wouldn’t even be pretending to consider a black widow movie if wonder woman hadn’t just made her silver screen debut
like honestly calm the fuck down dc has done more for marvel than most actual marvel stans
