Because he’s a phenomenal Oscar-, Golden Globe- Screen actors guild-, and other- award winning actor that has been praised by many for his dedication to his roles and sincerity he brings to his characters. He is also praised very much by his cast members, most recently those from Suicide Squad. He is very supportive of his cast members, and makes sure that they’re okay while filming and that he isn’t overplaying, no matter what the character is.
He had a pretty hard childhood, with his parents getting divorced when he was young and his father committing suicide when he was 8. His childhood was spent moving around a lot, but he finally settled to focus on his interest in art.
He is a huge supporter of animal rights and supported California Proposition 2. He is also a gay rights activist, and raised money to the campaign against California Proposition 8 (which would overturn the California Supreme Court decision that had legalized same-sex marriage) in 2009.
He also is a genuinely kind soul who has worked for several charities, including Aid Still Required, which works to bring attention an aid to areas affected by natural disasters. In fact, after the 2010 Haiti earthquake, he released a book of photographs he took when he traveled to Haiti in 2011 to try and raise funds for Haiti. He has also worked with Art of Elysium and Habitat for Humanity.

Omg the video is adorable!!
I’ve seen this picture posted a ton of times with captions like “she’s just gonna snap and hit him one day”, “he must’ve said something racist/sexist,” and “she must be so sick of his shit.” And then I watch the panel video and this is Viola’s reaction to someone in the crowd yelling something while Jared was having the crowd chant the movie name like she was literally laughing at the stuff he was saying during the panel. Y'all stay taking shit out of context and making unfounded accusations. I don’t even think they had a scene together???
