Oh thank you for submitting this! I saw this but you know how tumblr is. They think its cool to hate on someone but when we actually bring them facts that they are wrong they wont admit it ever. Also i noticed this especially when it comes to DCEU actors.

I’m terrified of this culture I see on tumblr which dictates that if a person does something wrong, or makes a mistake, or displays a moment of ignorance they are trash and worthless and deserve to be torn to shreds. A human being does not stop being a human being because they said something stupid. The idea that we should all aspire to a very specific sense of social and ideological purity or we deserve to die is dictatorial and frankly frightening.

tumblr is so funny. ur meme is problematic. ur media is problematic. ur theorist is problematic. i only consume the most idelogically pure anything. in fact, i stay inside my room at all times, surrounded by pure ideology, and any time something is revealed to have the slightest whiff of problematics, i devour it whole, allowing my ideologically pure stomach acid 2 destroy its essence
