I’m not saying you can’t love Idris Elba but please stop fan casting him in every black man role in the dceu. Please take the time to actually research other actors. Like yeah he’s great but I’ve seen people want him for both John and Black Manta and it’s like….other black actors exist try and research others.

Her comments were, of course, all in good fun—as she told Vanity Fair in an interview, Davis was actually impressed by the rigor Leto’s method antics required. If anything, it only motivated her to work harder: “Oh shit, I’ve got to have my stuff together,” Davis recalled thinking. “You talk about commitment!”
The E! News article containing the directly sourced quotes leads to a dead link, but there are lots of direct quotes taken from the interview all over the other media outlets that covered it and she’s said she recieved bullets and that everyone got “gifts.”

It’s not an E! News article it’s vanity fair. And yeah but we know that most of these are fake and were lies just for publicity, most of the cast did receive gifts but most of the gifts were made up.

Confirmation bias. This hell website spent months repeating the same old hot topic “joke” and when they finally watched the movie they realized that it’s so much more than that. But that obstructs their hate bandwagoning so they latched onto a half second line so they continue their joke and ignore everything amazing the movie did. Trust me it’s only on here people who live in the real world didn’t care. Don’t expect too much out of tumblr, you’ll only be disappointed.
