I mean they’re missing a BIG part of the picture and they probably don’t 100% understand what they’re shipping but as long as they’re not being annoying about it and aren’t shoving it down others’ throats I don’t care what they wanna do. I mean like I post stuff from both ships but it’s important to recognize that seeing abusive relationships romanticized can be harmful to actual abuse survivors so it’s always important to put their feelings first. That doesn’t mean don’t post what you want obviously, it just means don’t go actively attacking people who hate Joker/Harley. And if someone comes attacking you about it, try to see where they’re coming from. I mean you don’t gotta let them walk over you if they’re being an asshole but like, realize that this is probably about more than a fictional relationship to them.
Basically just try not to be a shitty person and have fun? Idk I can’t get out what I’m trying to say. Like I’m into both ships and I know it’s okay to like things cause they’re not real but you also gotta realize they connect to real things for some people.
