I love when people say we didn’t get to see Clark’s personality in the movie because we clearly did, he’s just such a better person than most of us that his personality doesn’t even register for some people.
His personality is how much he devotes himself to his mother and girlfriend, and how passionate he is about reporting the stories that he believes matter, and sticking up for people who can’t stick up for themselves, and never using his powers when he doesn’t have to.
His personality is also being rash, jumping into a situation to help someone without considering the consequences, and how he can control how he reacts to his anger but he can’t control how he shows it (screaming at Luthor but not ripping him in half), and how he’s so stubborn that he risks losing his job because of his convictions.
I don’t think there was a single scene where his personality didn’t show through and all that was just BvS.
Yeah, it’s as if we don’t need mountains of quips and dialogue in order to SEE the character’s personality.
